We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cost Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. This role is crucial in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget while delivering exceptional quality.
- Preparation and analysis of cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account material quantities, labor requirements, and equipment needs.
- Managing the financial aspects of projects during all phases, from initiation to completion, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure that projects are executed within approved cost limits and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conducting regular cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Preparing detailed cost reports for senior management, stakeholders, and clients as required.
- Liaising with external suppliers, contractors, and consultants to negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms.
- Assisting in the development of bid proposals, including compiling cost data and providing pricing advice.
- Providing technical support to the project team on matters related to construction costs, contract law, and risk management.
- Complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Cost Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using cost estimation software and other relevant tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.

Daily Responsibilities
In this role as a Cost Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed within budget and on schedule. Your daily responsibilities will include:
*Budget Preparation and Management
- : Develop comprehensive project budgets, including estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and any other resources required. Monitor project costs against these budgets and take corrective action when necessary to maintain profitability.
- *Cost Control
- : Implement cost control measures to ensure that projects are completed within their approved budgets. This may include negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing procurement processes, and tracking project expenses.
- *Risk Management
