  • Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary school level, preferably within an educational setting similar to ours.

Applicant Requirements

*Qualifications: *

Daily Activities

As a valued member of our team at the organisation, the role of a Design & Technology Teacher is both challenging and rewarding. Here is an overview of your daily activities: Lesson Planning and Preparation (Monday to Friday) - Develop engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with national curriculum standards.

  • Source and prepare materials for upcoming lessons such as equipment, software, and resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular and interdisciplinary lessons.

Classroom Instruction (Monday to Friday) - Deliver engaging, interactive lessons that stimulate students' interest in Design & Technology.

  • Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging active participation and asking open-ended questions.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of individual students.

Assessment and Feedback (Ongoing) - Regularly assess students' work using a variety of methods, including practical demonstrations, written assignments, and class presentations.

  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and understanding.
  • Track students' progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure they are making appropriate academic growth.

Project Supervision (As Required) - Oversee student projects, both individually and in groups.

  • Offer guidance and support when needed while allowing students to take ownership of their work.
