Summary/Opportunity Join our dynamic and safety-focused team in Yorkshire and The Humber as a Dumper Diver! As a Dumper Diver, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty vehicles, transporting loads of excavated materials from one area to another on construction sites. - Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks, following all relevant safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintaining awareness of surrounding areas and other workers while operating equipment.
- Following instructions from site supervisors or project managers regarding loading and unloading locations.
- Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues to the maintenance department.
- Assisting in the preparation and clean-up of the work area as needed. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A valid UK driving license (preferably with a HGV category).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery, preferably dump trucks or similar vehicles.
- Excellent understanding and practice of safe operating procedures for heavy machinery.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
