Job Role

The role of the Financial Controller at our organization is a key position within the finance department, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the management and strategic planning of our financial operations.

*Key Responsibilities: *

  • Overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the management team and other stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conducting financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
  • Managing the preparation of budgets, forecast models, and variance analyses.
  • Supervising the work of accounting staff, providing guidance and support where necessary.
  • Coordinating with external auditors during annual audits and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensuring effective risk management and implementing controls to mitigate potential financial risks.
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve financial efficiency and drive operational excellence.

*Qualifications: *

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, etc.) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Financial Controller role or equivalent.
