- Collaborate with department heads to address specific hazards, accidents, or incidents as they arise and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to health and safety incidents, near misses, inspections, audits, and training sessions.
- Foster a culture of proactive risk management by promoting safe work practices, encouraging open communication, and reinforcing the importance of personal responsibility for safety.
- Act as a liaison between our organisation and external regulatory bodies, representing our interests during inspections and providing guidance on compliance matters.
- Continuously monitor best practices in health and safety management and seek opportunities to improve our processes and procedures.
- A recognized qualification in Health and Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is essential.
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor, ideally within a diverse, fast-paced working environment.
- Strong understanding of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Demonstrable experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing corrective actions.
