  • Keep accurate records of work carried out on each vehicle and report any issues that may affect roadworthiness.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain an efficient and productive workshop environment.

*Qualifications and Skills: *

  • A formal qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or a related field is essential (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working as an HGV Technician within a similar environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the latest tools, techniques, and equipment used in HGV maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with drivers, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
  • Flexibility to work during our operational hours, which may include weekends and evenings.
  • A valid UK driving license is desirable but not essential.
