As a HGV Trailer Technician, you will be integral to our team ensuring the efficient operation of our fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate must possess: Professional Qualifications:
- A Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Heavy Vehicle) qualification or equivalent, preferably with a focus on trailer technology.
- Valid Driver's License, preferably a Category C+E license to handle large goods vehicles.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in HGV trailers.
- Proficiency in the use of specialized tools, equipment, and software for trailer maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to HGV trailers, including periodic safety checks.
Practical Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Physical fitness to handle heavy parts and perform maintenance tasks in potentially adverse working conditions.
