Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) membership is desirable but not essential with a commitment to achieve this within the first two years of employment
  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in human resources management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels, manage conflicts, and maintain positive relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workloads in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, make informed decisions, and develop effective HR strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) for data analysis and document preparation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally

  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) would be beneficial but is not essential. Daily Responsibilities

You will partner with line managers across the organisation offering expert advice on all aspects of employee relations, performance management, and policies to ensure compliance with employment law and best practice.

Collaborate in the end-to-end recruitment process by creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making recommendations for the best fit.

Manage employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner, including dealing with grievances and disciplinary cases, implementing appropriate solutions to maintain a positive working environment.

  • *Policy Development and Compliance:

Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with current employment law and best practice, and are communicated effectively across the organisation.

  • *Performance Management:

Collaborate in the implementation and maintenance of a robust performance management system, providing guidance to managers on setting objectives, conducting appraisals, and addressing underperformance issues.

  • *Training and Development:

Identify training needs within the organisation and coordinate training programs to support employee development and growth.

  • *HR Projects:
