IFA Administrator | Job in Tyne And Wear

As an IFA Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Advisors by ensuring smooth and efficient administration of their cases. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing suitability reports, client reviews, and other documentation as required
  • Liaising with product providers, third parties, and clients to obtain necessary information for case preparation
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating client files in a timely manner
  • Assisting with the preparation of valuation reports, pension reviews, and other technical work as required
  • Supporting the Advisors in adhering to our compliance procedures and regulatory requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within an IFA environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with clients, advisors, and third parties

Duties and Responsibilities

In this role as an IFA (Independent Financial Advisor) Administrator with our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day administration of financial advisory services. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

*Client Support: *

Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse range of clients by managing their administrative needs effectively and efficiently. This includes maintaining accurate client records, preparing correspondence, and liaising with clients over the phone or via email.

  • *Administrative Duties:

Perform various administrative tasks such as organizing appointments, scheduling meetings, arranging travel when necessary, and handling post and incoming mail.

  • *Document Preparation:

Prepare a variety of documents including investment reports, account opening forms, application forms, and other related paperwork. Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and comply with relevant regulations.

  • *Compliance:

Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with these regulations. This includes managing risk, ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering procedures, and maintaining records as required by law.

  • *System Management:

Utilize our financial management software to manage client accounts, update records, and generate reports as necessary. Ensure data integrity and security at all times.

  • *Team Support:

Collaborate effectively with the IFA team to deliver high-quality financial advisory services to clients. This includes participating in team meetings, providing administrative support as needed, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

  • *Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on financial industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices through ongoing professional development. This will enable you to provide our clients with the most current and relevant advice.
