Interior Design and Planning Coordinator | Job in Cheshire

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (such as NCIDQ, ASID, IIDA) is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior design and planning with a focus on commercial and residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator), and other relevant design software. Familiarity with Revit and ArchiCAD is a plus.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices. Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the design and build process.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and manage budgets effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to present designs clearly and effectively to clients and team members.
- Creativity and innovation in design solutions with a focus on sustainability and functional aesthetics.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of BIM software (such as Revit or ArchiCAD) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for site visits, meetings, and project inspections. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
