Account Executive | Job in East Sussex
We are seeking an exceptional Account Executive to join our dynamic team in the South East region. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing accounts, as well as identifying new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through excellent service.
Understand customer requirements and identify potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and negotiate contracts.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions that meet our customers' needs.
Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
Report on business performance and challenges to senior management.
Proven work experience as an Account Executive or a similar role.
Demonstrable experience achieving sales targets over a number of years.
Strong knowledge of the sales process and CRM systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to build relationships and rapport with key stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-solving aptitude and ability to think strategically.
Strong negotiation skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other technology as required for the role.
Proven ability to manage multiple accounts at various stages of the sales process simultaneously.
Knowledge of the region and local market trends.
Strong network within the South East region.
Willingness to travel as needed (post-pandemic).
Experience with virtual selling platforms.
Excellent organizational skills, including time management and prioritization.
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
