*Role Description: AV/Event Sales Manager (Venue Based) *
The South West-based venue is seeking a dynamic and experienced *AV/Event Sales Manager
- to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving the growth of the venue's event business, fostering relationships with clients, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional audio-visual services for all events held at our location.
*Responsibilities: *
- Develop and implement effective strategies to grow the venue's event sales, achieving set targets and maximizing revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the Venue Operations team to ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained throughout all stages of event planning, setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while actively seeking new business opportunities through targeted outreach and networking.
- Provide expert advice on audio-visual solutions for client events, ensuring the availability of appropriate equipment and personnel to deliver a seamless experience.
- Work closely with the Venue Marketing team to create compelling event proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon venue offerings, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our competitive edge.
- Manage a pipeline of sales leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system and effectively communicating progress with key stakeholders.
- Participate in venue-wide initiatives and projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the business.
*Qualifications: *
- Proven experience as an Event Sales Manager or similar role within a venue or event production company.
- Strong understanding of audio-visual technologies and their applications in various event scenarios.
- Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments, while also managing individual tasks and projects effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to accommodate event schedules.
- A degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required for the right candidate with relevant experience.
