As the Aviation Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to plan, coordinate, and implement project activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and execute aviation projects in line with strategic objectives.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and budgeting of projects to ensure optimal delivery and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project goals are met.
- Implement quality management systems to ensure all projects meet required standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate projects into the overall business strategy.
- Provide regular updates on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in aviation project management, ideally within a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations, industry best practices, and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
