  • Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve machine programming efficiency and part quality
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Applicant Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a CNC Miller/CNC Programmer. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth, with comprehensive training provided in our state-of-the-art facilities.

  • Operate and program computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts.

  • Set up and perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.

  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions and fastening methods.

  • Collaborate with the engineering department to create, modify, or update CNC programs.

  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.

  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Programmer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  • Solid understanding of machine tools, CNC programming languages (such as G-code), and manufacturing processes.

  • Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, etc.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.

  • A relevant technical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime when required.

  • A valid driving license is preferred due to the location of our premises and potential need for site visits.

  • Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment screening, including reference checks, background checks, and drug screening.
