As a Senior Analyst/Associate Director, Corporate Ratings Natural Resources & Commodities, the following skills are essential for success in this role:

  • *Expertise in Credit Analysis:
  • Extensive experience in credit analysis, particularly within the natural resources and commodities sector. Ability to assess creditworthiness, identify risks, and make informed recommendations based on financial data and market trends.
  • *Strong Quantitative Skills:
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, ratio analysis, and other quantitative tools used in credit analysis. Advanced knowledge of Excel and other relevant software packages is required.
  • *Understanding of Natural Resources & Commodities Sector:
  • In-depth understanding of the natural resources and commodities sector, including trends, market dynamics, and key players. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data related to this industry.
  • *Strategic Thinking:
  • Ability to develop strategic plans for rating actions, credit risk management, and portfolio optimization within the natural resources & commodities sector.
  • *Communication Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Experience in creating compelling reports, presentations, and other forms of analysis for various stakeholders is required.
  • *Leadership Qualities:
  • Ability to lead teams, manage projects, and mentor junior analysts. Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving common goals.
  • *Regulatory Knowledge:
