Data Acquisition Lead | Job in Merseyside

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Acquisition Lead to join our team based in the North West region. *Responsibilities: *

• Develop, implement, and oversee strategies for efficient and effective data acquisition from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs.
• Manage the data acquisition team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and methods for enhancing data collection processes.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to ensure the quality and integrity of collected data.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and make data-driven decisions to optimize data acquisition efforts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data acquisition.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on data acquisition within the organization.

*Requirements: *

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in using data acquisition tools and technologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to apply them in a data acquisition context.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
