As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an integral role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities within the South West region on a bank basis. This position requires flexibility to work during peak periods or cover for regular staff absences.

*Key Responsibilities: *

• Perform general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain cleanliness of the premises.
• Undertake laundry tasks including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linen.
• Empty bins, recycling, and compost containers as required.
• Carry out other general housekeeping tasks such as organizing storage areas, replenishing cleaning supplies, and restocking paper products.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety procedures, identifying and reporting hazards, and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Contribute to our commitment to sustainability by practicing waste reduction, recycling, and energy efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with other team members, providing support where necessary to ensure smooth operation of the facilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or facility manager.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time efficiently.
• Flexibility to work on a bank basis, including during peak periods or covering for regular staff absences.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 20kg.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a cleaning environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
