Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer | Job in Bristol

As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer based in the South West region, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our clients by installing, upgrading, and maintaining smart meters for both electricity and gas.

*Key Responsibilities: *

  • Install and upgrade dual fuel smart meters according to company standards and industry regulations.
  • Carry out technical tests and provide fault diagnosis and repair services on smart meter equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken, ensuring they are uploaded promptly to the necessary databases.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills during client interactions, providing clear explanations about smart meters and their benefits.

*Requirements: *

  • Proven experience as a Smart Meter Engineer or similar role in the energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of smart meter technology, including gas and electricity smart meters.
  • Excellent technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair smart meter equipment.
  • Demonstrable customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Current qualification in relevant gas and electrical disciplines (e.g., C&G 2391, CCN1, CMA1, METER1).
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required within the South West region.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to ensure service delivery alignment with client requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
