Early Learning & Childcare Support Worker | Job in East Sussex
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Learning & Childcare Support Worker to join our team in the South East region. Collaborate with the lead teachers and educational team to implement appropriate curricula and daily lesson plans for each age group
Establish positive relationships with children, recognizing individual needs, and responding appropriately
Plan, prepare, and conduct activities that facilitate learning and development in a fun and creative manner
Observe and document children's play, behavior, and progress to inform ongoing assessments and curriculum planning
Collaborate with parents, families, and caregivers to build strong relationships and share information about the children's experiences and development
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that supports learning and play
Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times
Contribute to our ongoing team professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and staff meetings
A minimum of a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent qualification is required for this role
Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in an Early Learning & Childcare setting is essential
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ability to implement its principles effectively is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Patience, adaptability, and creativity in approaching challenging situations and planning engaging activities for the children
A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development and wellbeing
