Early Learning & Childcare Support Worker | Job in East Sussex

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Learning & Childcare Support Worker to join our team in the South East region.   • Collaborate with the lead teachers and educational team to implement appropriate curricula and daily lesson plans for each age group

  • Establish positive relationships with children, recognizing individual needs, and responding appropriately

  • Plan, prepare, and conduct activities that facilitate learning and development in a fun and creative manner

  • Observe and document children's play, behavior, and progress to inform ongoing assessments and curriculum planning

  • Collaborate with parents, families, and caregivers to build strong relationships and share information about the children's experiences and development

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that supports learning and play

  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times

  • Contribute to our ongoing team professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and staff meetings

  • A minimum of a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent qualification is required for this role

  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in an Early Learning & Childcare setting is essential

  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ability to implement its principles effectively is highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

  • Patience, adaptability, and creativity in approaching challenging situations and planning engaging activities for the children

  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development and wellbeing
