Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly, ensuring they feel welcome and well taken care of throughout their visit.
  • Assist with seating arrangements, ensuring tables are clean and tidy before guests are seated.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including maintaining the cleanliness of dining areas, glassware, cutlery, and crockery.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to customer inquiries or complaints, ensuring they are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist with cash handling duties, including taking payments and providing change accurately.
  • Contribute to the overall success of our team by maintaining a positive attitude, working collaboratively, and supporting your colleagues during busy periods.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during busy periods, if required.

  • Knowledge of food and drink menus is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
