Fullstack Engineer | Job in Shropshire
In this pivotal role as a Fullstack Engineer with our dynamic tech company based in the West Midlands, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications to meet business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems, delivering high-quality, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
*Software Development: *
- Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient, reusable, and reliable code for frontend (JavaScript, React, Angular) and backend (Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails) applications.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand user stories and translate them into functional features.
- Write unit tests and documentation to ensure high-quality code and maintainability of applications.
- Participate in code reviews to share knowledge, improve collaboration, and enforce best practices.
*System Architecture: *
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems (APIs, databases) that support the frontend applications.
- Optimize the performance of applications to ensure efficient resource usage and fast load times.
- Work with DevOps and SRE teams to implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of microservices architecture as needed for new projects.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and data scientists, to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients by providing clear and concise status updates, progress reports, and documentation.
- Participate in regular code sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
