This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate chef to lead the kitchen at one of the city's most popular restaurants, renowned for its innovative menu and exceptional dining experience.
Leading and managing the kitchen team, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Developing and implementing seasonal menus that align with our restaurant's ethos of using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
Collaborating with our Front of House team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Conducting regular tastings and quality checks to ensure the highest standards of food quality.
Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to junior chefs and kitchen staff.
Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff as needed.
Managing inventory and ordering supplies to maintain an efficient kitchen operation.
Collaborating with our management team on marketing initiatives, events, and promotions.
Continuously seeking ways to improve the kitchen operation, menu offerings, and guest satisfaction.
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen management practices.
Creativity in menu development, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Exceptional culinary skills, including the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A positive attitude, adaptability, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
