Job Duties

In this key leadership position as a Home Manager in the North West region, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential care homes, ensuring the highest level of care and support is provided to our residents.

  • *Leadership and Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a dedicated team of staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages growth and development. Implement and maintain effective management strategies to ensure smooth operations within the home.
  • *Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and legislation relating to care services. Conduct regular inspections and audits, addressing any areas of non-compliance promptly.
  • *Care Delivery:
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for each resident, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Liaise with families and other stakeholders to maintain open lines of communication regarding residents' wellbeing.
  • *Staff Development:
  • Provide ongoing training and support to the care staff, promoting their professional growth and development. Ensure that all relevant qualifications, certifications, and training records are up-to-date for each team member.
  • *Financial Management:
  • Oversee the financial aspects of the home, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • *Health & Safety:
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are adhered to within the home, maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for both staff and residents. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • *Marketing and Community Engagement:
  • Develop relationships with local community groups, organizations, and families to promote the care home and its services. Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns and events to raise awareness of the home's mission and values.
  • *Performance Evaluation:
  • Regularly evaluate the performance of the home, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these issues. Collaborate with senior management to set annual goals and objectives for the home.
  • *Incident Management:
  • Respond effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may occur within the home, ensuring a swift and effective resolution to maintain the safety and wellbeing of residents and staff.
