*Responsibilities: *
- Maintain the cleanliness of all areas within the care home, including resident rooms, common areas, kitchens, and dining rooms.
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Ensure that all linen is clean and well-stocked, laundering items as required.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with the removal of waste and recycling in accordance with the care home's waste management policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the relevant staff members.
- Adhere to all infection control guidelines and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive working environment.
*Requirements: *
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within a care home setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move furniture as required.
- A caring and compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to support our residents.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays, as part of our 24-hour care provision.
