*Responsibilities: *

• Maintain the cleanliness of all areas within the care home, including resident rooms, common areas, kitchens, and dining rooms.
• Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Ensure that all linen is clean and well-stocked, laundering items as required.
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping Team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with the removal of waste and recycling in accordance with the care home's waste management policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the relevant staff members.
• Adhere to all infection control guidelines and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive working environment.

*Requirements: *

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within a care home setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move furniture as required.
• A caring and compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to support our residents.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays, as part of our 24-hour care provision.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with residents, colleagues, and visitors.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
