*Key Responsibilities: *

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for our residents.
• Performing routine housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and organizing common areas.
• Assisting with laundry services, including sorting, washing, ironing, and putting away resident's clothing.
• Ensuring all equipment used in the housekeeping process is maintained and stored correctly.
• Collaborating with the housekeeping team to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Being responsive to the needs of our residents, providing them with a clean and welcoming environment at all times.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the relevant staff members for prompt resolution.
• Adhering to the care home's policies and procedures, as well as all health and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrating empathy, respect, and understanding towards our residents, their families, and colleagues.

*Qualifications: *

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably within a care home setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, according to the needs of the care home.
• A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our residents' comfort and wellbeing.
