HR and Payroll Graduate | Job in Highland

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious HR & Payroll Graduate to join our dynamic team in Highland.   • Assist with various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy development.

  • Collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure accurate processing and timely distribution of payroll for all employees.

  • Participate in the maintenance and update of employee records within our HRIS system.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that align with our strategic objectives.

  • Provide administrative support as needed, such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing documentation.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements in both HR and Payroll.

  • Participate in projects and tasks assigned by the HR Manager or other senior team members.

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information related to employees.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and payroll processes.

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in HR and Payroll.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development.

  • Relevant work experience in an HR or Payroll role.

  • Experience using HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle, or SAP.

  • Familiarity with employment legislation, including UK employment law.

  • A professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., CIPD) is a plus.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.
