In this role, you will be responsible for supporting students in their learning journey by working closely with teachers, classroom staff, and other educational professionals. - Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students

Required Skills

Education: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grades 9-4 (A*-C), including English Language and Mathematics is required. A relevant Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or willingness to achieve this qualification, would be advantageous.
Experience: Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role within an educational setting is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with students, teachers, parents, and other school staff.
Patience and Empathy: The ability to demonstrate patience and empathy towards students who may be facing learning difficulties or challenges is crucial.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are necessary for managing tasks related to supporting the learning process, including preparation of materials and adherence to timetables.
Problem-Solving Abilities: The capacity to think creatively and solve problems is important when dealing with a variety of educational challenges that may arise.
