Manager, OT Security | Job in Carmarthenshire
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Operational Technology (OT) Security to lead our team in Wales. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of OT security principles and practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our organization's OT security strategy, policies, and procedures.
Develop, implement, and maintain the OT security strategy aligned with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices in OT security.
Lead and manage the OT security team, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to drive performance and growth.
Collaborate with various departments to identify, assess, and mitigate potential OT security risks.
Oversee incident response and recovery processes related to OT security incidents.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, threats, and technologies in the field of OT security.
Provide regular reports and updates on the status of OT security to senior management.
Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to network and share knowledge.
Continuously improve the OT security posture by implementing new technologies and processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
Proven experience as an OT Security Manager or similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
Strong understanding of OT systems and protocols, including SCADA, DCS, and PLC.
Expertise in OT security principles, standards, and best practices (e.g., IEC 62443, NERC CIP).

Risk Assessment & Mitigation (Advanced): Ability to perform comprehensive risk assessments for OT systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure the security of critical infrastructure.
Incident Response & Recovery (Proficient): Proven experience in managing incident response and recovery, including containment, eradication, and recovery processes for OT security incidents.
