Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with other engineers and technical staff to develop and implement maintenance strategies that enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including documentation of any identified issues or potential improvements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment lifespan and reduce overall maintenance costs.
- Assist in the training and development of junior engineers and apprentices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Relevant technical qualifications (HND/ONC/HNC or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A valid driving license and the ability to travel between sites as required.
