Network Expansion Manager | Job in Greater Manchester

In this pivotal role as the Network Expansion Manager for Visa Direct, you will have the unique opportunity to drive the growth and expansion of our network in the North West region. This position is a key strategic role within our team, where you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and executing partnerships with financial institutions, merchants, and other relevant entities to expand the reach and impact of Visa Direct.

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and expand our network in the North West region.

  • Identify potential partners and negotiate agreements that align with Visa's strategic objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, merchants, and regulators.

  • Evaluate market trends and competitive landscape to ensure Visa Direct remains at the forefront of innovation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new partners into our ecosystem seamlessly.

  • Monitor partner performance and provide guidance and support to ensure ongoing success.

  • Contribute to the development of best practices and thought leadership within the network expansion domain.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or related roles within the financial services industry. Experience in network expansion is strongly desired.

  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and executing strategic partnerships.

  • Strong understanding of the payments industry, including regulatory requirements and market trends.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies for network expansion.

  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
