In this critical role within our organization, you will serve as the Operations Director for our Nuclear New Build project in Perth And Kinross. You will be responsible for leading and managing all operational aspects of the new build, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving operational excellence to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes.

• Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with project objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best industry practices.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive effective communication, coordination, and collaboration across all aspects of the new build.

• Manage and optimize the use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure project timeliness, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Oversee the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain a strong safety culture.

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and enhance overall operations performance.

• Ensure effective risk management practices are in place, with proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to the nuclear industry, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance.

• Degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a related field, along with relevant professional certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer, Chartered Nuclear Engineer).
