*Essential: *

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in Payroll & Finance Coordination roles
• Proficiency in MS Excel, QuickBooks, and other finance software packages
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and regulations
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues within data
• Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with GDPR and data protection regulations
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

*Desirable: *

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Experience working within the manufacturing or logistics sector
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Understanding of HR processes and payroll administration
• Project management skills
• Experience with international payroll would be advantageous.
