The ideal candidate for the position of Plumbing or Heating Engineer will be a skilled tradesperson with extensive experience in diagnosing, installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems, plumbing fixtures, and piping systems. This role is based in West Midlands and requires a flexible approach to work, including some weekend work when necessary.

• Diagnose and resolve plumbing or heating issues promptly and efficiently to ensure the continued functioning of our clients' systems.
• Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on plumbing fixtures, piping systems, and heating equipment in residential and commercial properties.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction at every stage.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and any necessary recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades.
• Provide clear communication with clients regarding the status of ongoing projects and estimated costs for additional work.

*Requirements: *

• Proven experience as a Plumber or Heating Engineer (minimum 3 years).
• City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or Heating Engineering, or equivalent.
• Full Gas Safe registration (CP1/CP2/CP3/CP4) and a valid ACS certification for relevant appliances is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to diagnose complex issues.
• Strong customer service orientation, with an ability to build strong relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools and plumbing and heating equipment.
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods and occasional weekends when necessary.
