Project Assistant | Job in Kent

  • Assist project managers with daily administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining project documentation.

  • Collaborate with project team members to support the timely completion of project deliverables.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.

  • Support the coordination of project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing follow-up information.

  • Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is kept informed about project progress and any issues that arise.

  • Assist with the procurement process, including identifying potential vendors, requesting quotes, and managing purchase orders.

  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making in project planning and execution.

  • Support risk management by identifying potential risks and helping to develop mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure projects align with overall organizational objectives.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Project Assistant or similar role.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Basecamp, Trello).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial analysis.

  • A proactive problem-solver who can think creatively to overcome challenges.
