As a Project Officer (Rivers and Coast) at , you will play a vital role in the successful implementation of our projects focusing on rivers and coastal environments. You will work closely with our project teams and external partners to plan, manage, and deliver projects efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve:
Project Management: Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of river and coastal projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed project objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with various stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, NGOs, and other relevant parties, to facilitate effective collaboration and open dialogue throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical Expertise: Applying your knowledge of river and coastal management, hydrology, ecology, geomorphology, and other relevant disciplines to inform decision-making and problem-solving during project delivery.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Designing and implementing monitoring programs to assess the effectiveness of our projects, collecting data, analyzing results, and reporting on findings to inform future project development and refinement.
Report Writing: Producing clear, concise, and engaging reports for internal and external audiences, including progress updates, technical reports, and proposals.
Networking & Representation: Representing at relevant industry events, conferences, and workshops, and building a strong network of contacts within the river and coastal management sector.
