  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by offering suggestions for process improvements and identifying areas for potential quality enhancements.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, test results, and corrective actions taken.

  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.

  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance.

  • Provide training and support to junior QA team members as needed.

  • A relevant degree or diploma in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a QA Inspector or similar role within the manufacturing industry.

  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles and tools (e.g., SPC, statistical analysis, Six Sigma).

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

The Role

Location: Wales

As a QA Inspector at our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by inspecting them at various stages of production and before they are shipped to our customers.

*Responsibilities: *

  • Inspect products for adherence to established quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements during all stages of production.
  • Perform routine and special inspections, using appropriate tools and equipment where necessary.
  • Record findings accurately in the Quality Management System (QMS), including any discrepancies or non-conformities.
  • Work collaboratively with production staff to address any issues identified during the inspection process.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on potential process improvements and offering suggestions for enhancing product quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing accurate and detailed information about our quality processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, quality standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure the relevance of our QA procedures.

*Qualifications: *

  • Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including overtime and weekend shifts when required.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • A relevant degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
