Quality Auditor / QA / QC | Job in Essex
As a Quality Auditor/QA/QC within our organization based in the East of England, your primary role is to ensure that our products and services meet the highest quality standards. Here's an outline of your daily activities:
Product Inspection: Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods for compliance with specifications and industry standards. This may involve visual inspection, measurements, or the use of specialized equipment.
Quality Control Checks: Perform routine quality control checks on production lines to ensure that they are functioning correctly and consistently producing products within specified quality parameters.
Document Review: Review technical documentation such as product specifications, standards, and procedures. Ensure that these documents are up-to-date, accurate, and effectively communicated throughout the organization.
Quality Audits: Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of our quality management system. Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions. Additionally, perform external audits as required by customers or regulatory bodies.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate any deviations from the quality standard by conducting Root Cause Analyses. Determine the underlying causes of quality issues and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
Training and Development: Provide training to production staff on quality-related topics such as good manufacturing practices, process control, and problem-solving techniques. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our quality management system.
Quality Reporting: Prepare and present reports on the status of quality issues, audits, and other quality-related matters to relevant stakeholders such as management, customers, or regulatory bodies.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and purchasing to resolve quality issues and improve product quality. Work closely with quality colleagues in other locations, if applicable, to ensure consistent quality standards across the organization.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving product quality, process efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction. Suggest and implement improvements based on your experience and analysis of data.
