As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work culture that empowers our staff and encourages continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the provision of high-quality person-centered care to our residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines in relation to care provision, health and safety, and infection control.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively, ensuring the efficient operation of our services.
- Lead and develop a motivated and skilled team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive service development and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure strong communication channels are maintained between staff, residents, families, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and support during periods of change or challenge, maintaining a positive outlook and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the organization by participating in relevant committees and forums.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in service management, preferably within an older person's care setting.
- Demonstrable understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with experience in resource allocation and staff management.
