*Responsibilities: *
- Assist the Store Manager in managing all aspects of store operations, ensuring efficient and profitable day-to-day running of the store.
- Lead and motivate a team, providing training and guidance to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards across the store, optimizing product placement and layout for maximum sales potential.
- Manage stock control, including receiving, processing, and managing stock movements in accordance with company procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records of store stock levels.
- Implement and oversee loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement store marketing plans, promotions, and events.
- Handle financial transactions accurately, including cash handling, banking, and reconciliation of daily sales reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay informed about competitor activities, industry trends, and market conditions to ensure our store maintains a competitive edge.
*Qualifications: *
- Proven experience in a Retail Deputy Manager or similar supervisory role within retail.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a team effectively.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising principles, and customer service best practices.
- Proficiency in financial management, including cash handling, banking, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required by business needs.
