Senior Digital Project Manager, Professional Services, SDLC, Remote | Job in Lancashire

In this role as a Senior Digital Project Manager within the Professional Services team focusing on Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), you will be responsible for managing complex digital projects remotely. The following tasks are designed to provide a daily structure while maintaining flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of project management.

Project Planning and Initiation

  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to gather project requirements, goals, and constraints.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
  • Establish project governance structures and communication protocols to ensure effective collaboration and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Resource Allocation

  • Assign tasks to team members based on their skills, availability, and workload.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins and status updates to ensure timely progress.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or roadblocks and devise strategies to mitigate them.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor risk levels throughout the project and adjust plans as necessary to minimize impact.

Quality Assurance and Control

  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Review work produced by team members for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis for defects or issues and implement corrective actions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Manage expectations and address concerns proactively to build trust and foster strong relationships.
  • Provide regular project updates, including progress reports, risk assessments, and change requests.

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze project performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and learnings from previous projects to enhance project management processes.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and methodologies.
