*About the Role: *

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes that align with industry best practices.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality requirements.

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of products to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.

  • Analyze and interpret data from quality control tests to make informed decisions.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Train and mentor junior team members in quality assurance principles and practices.

  • Collaborate with the R&D department to integrate quality considerations into product design and development.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

  • Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues and lead corrective action initiatives.

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and propose opportunities for improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and quality management systems.

  • Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills Required

  • *Advanced Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS):
  • Proficiency in ISO 9001 or other international quality standards and ability to implement and maintain these systems within the organization is essential.
  • *Strong Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma Methodologies:
  • Ability to apply these methodologies to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • *Expertise in Quality Planning and Analysis:
  • Skills in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), control chart analysis, and other quality planning tools are required.
  • *Proficiency in Quality Assurance Tools and Software:
  • Familiarity with software like SPC (Statistical Process Control) software, Minitab, JMP, or similar is a must.
  • *Experience with Inspection Methods and Equipment:
  • Ability to use various inspection tools and equipment, such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM), optical comparators, and other metrology instruments.
  • *Knowledge of Quality Auditing and Compliance:
  • Ability to conduct internal audits, perform gap analyses, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • *Leadership and Team Management:
  • Able to lead a team of quality engineers, provide guidance, and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • *Communication Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • *Problem-Solving Ability:
  • Able to identify problems and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • *Organizational Skills:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
