*Job Description: *
We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our Student Services team on a maternity cover basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our students, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their time with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to students regarding a wide range of issues such as academic progress, personal development, wellbeing, and financial matters.
- Liaise with academic staff, student representatives, and other departments to ensure effective support for students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve student satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student interactions, issues, and outcomes.
- Participate in out-of-hours emergency duty rota as required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by senior management.
*Qualifications and Skills: *
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential, with significant relevant experience in a student support role being considered in lieu.
