Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Providing personal care, such as washing, dressing, and feeding
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as shopping, cooking, and cleaning
  • Supporting service users to engage in meaningful activities and hobbies
  • Administering medication when necessary and following all relevant policies and procedures
  • Recording observations and reports accurately and promptly
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure a consistent, high-quality service is provided at all times
