The Transport Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services during their designated shift hours. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the transportation department, including scheduling, dispatch, and vehicle maintenance during your assigned shift.
• Ensuring all transport activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborating with the Transport Operations Manager to develop and implement improvements in operational efficiency.
• Leading a team of drivers and coordinating their work to meet service demands effectively.
• Monitoring performance metrics such as on-time delivery rates, vehicle utilization, and driver compliance.
• Responding quickly and effectively to any service disruptions or incidents that may occur during your shift.
• Liaising with customers, dispatch centers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate movement of goods.
