*Role Overview: Warehouse Operative - Full Time *
Welcome to an exciting opportunity with a dynamic and expanding business based in the Yorkshire and Humber region! We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team on a full-time basis.
*Key Responsibilities: *
- Receiving, sorting, and storing incoming stock efficiently and accurately.
- Picking and packing orders swiftly and meticulously to meet customer requirements.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment at all times.
- Operating various machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stackers, in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Collaborating effectively with the warehouse team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Performing routine quality checks on products and reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of deliveries when required.
*Qualifications: *
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- A strong work ethic, flexibility, and reliability are vital.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment is necessary.
- Familiarity with using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stackers would be an advantage.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt quickly to change are essential.
- A valid UK driving license (preferably with counterbalance or reach truck certification) would be beneficial but is not mandatory for the role.
