• *Quality Control:

• Check incoming goods for damage or defects and report any issues to the relevant personnel.

• *Health & Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and protocols. Report any hazardous conditions promptly to the management team.

• *Operational Efficiency:

• Follow established procedures for receiving, storing, and shipping goods in a timely and efficient manner. Implement improvements or suggestions that increase operational efficiency where possible.

• *Customer Service:

• Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, as well as communicating effectively with the dispatch team about any issues that may arise during the picking process.

• Proven experience in a warehouse environment, preferably within a fast-paced e-commerce or logistics setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning equipment is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Skill Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Warehouse Picker or similar role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 kg, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions if required.

• Accuracy: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick and pack items according to instructions.

• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.

• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar software, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems if necessary.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to identify and resolve potential issues in a timely manner, minimizing disruptions to the workflow.

• Forklift Operator Licence: Possession of a valid Forklift Truck Operator's License is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

• Health and Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting, with the ability to identify potential hazards and suggest improvements.
