Daily Responsibilities

In this role as a Junior/Trainee Farm Consultant with our team, you will be embedded in the agricultural heartland of Yorkshire and The Humber, working closely with farmers to support and enhance their operations. Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

Engage with a diverse range of farmers, understanding their unique challenges, aspirations, and goals. Build strong relationships based on trust, empathy, and mutual respect.

  • *Consultancy Support:

Collaborate with senior consultants to provide advice on various aspects of farming, including crop management, livestock husbandry, farm business strategy, and environmental stewardship.

  • *Research and Analysis:

Conduct thorough research on best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes within the agricultural sector. Apply this knowledge to deliver practical, actionable recommendations to clients.

  • *Site Visits:

Regularly visit client farms for inspections, assessments, and consultations. Gather data, observe farming operations, and offer guidance where necessary.

  • *Report Writing:

Prepare comprehensive reports detailing your findings, recommendations, and action plans following site visits or research projects. Communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner.

  • *Collaboration:
