In this crucial role as a Maintenance Engineer in our factory, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will play an essential part in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading machinery and equipment to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
*Key Responsibilities: *
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, ensuring regular inspections and timely repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic issues across various production lines and equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements in safety, efficiency, and productivity.
- Create, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs for all factory machinery.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inventory levels, and equipment lifecycle statuses.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians on maintenance tasks.
- Participate in projects related to plant expansion or upgrades when required.
- Adhere to safety protocols, following appropriate procedures during maintenance activities and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
*Qualifications: *
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Technician within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaboration within the engineering team and coordination with other departments.
- A formal education in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with relevant industry certifications such as CMTP or CRL, are desirable but not mandatory.
