*Key Responsibilities: *

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive technical manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other relevant documents related to maintenance activities.
• Collaborate closely with our maintenance engineers, technicians, and managers to capture accurate and up-to-date information on equipment operation, repair, and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in the presentation of technical information across all documentation, adhering to industry standards and the organization's style guidelines.
• Proofread and edit existing documents for clarity, conciseness, and correct grammar, ensuring that they are easily understandable by both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Contribute to the development of training materials for new employees and refresher courses for existing staff on various maintenance topics.
• Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure the integration of documentation into their respective workflows, ensuring a cohesive and effective communication system throughout the organization.

*Qualifications: *

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering Technology, or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical writing role within a maintenance-focused environment.
• Proficiency in the use of technical authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, and Microsoft Word.
• Strong understanding of various maintenance practices, including preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
