Job Purpose

Job Purpose: Master Butcher As a Master Butcher within our organization, you will be responsible for the expert preparation, selection, and presentation of high-quality meat products. Your role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation as a premier provider of exceptional meat offerings in the East Midlands region. In this position, your primary duties include:

  • Overseeing daily butchery operations to ensure adherence to best practices and food safety standards.
  • Selecting, cutting, and preparing various cuts of meat to meet the needs of our customers and maintain inventory levels.
  • Utilizing your extensive knowledge of different breeds, ages, and cuts of meat to advise colleagues and customers on product selection and preparation techniques.
  • Collaborating with chefs and culinary teams to develop new recipes and menu items, using your expertise in flavor pairings and cooking methods.
  • Mentoring and training junior butchers, passing down traditional butchery skills and techniques while helping them grow professionally.
  • Engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing any queries or concerns they may have about our products.
